  Josh Romaker, Owner of The Star Spangled Brewing Co. has given 22 years of Military service, 13 of which were in Special Forces as a Green Beret, including 8 combat deployments and countless other foreign travel. Josh went all in, using his own money and cashing in his savings to purchase a small 3 barrel brewing system, ordering and coordinating delivery of the equipment through limited connectivity while deployed overseas. In 2017 returning home from his last deployment Josh began brewing and selling his home brewed beer out of the back of his truck for donations on weekends to raise the additional money needed to lease his own commercial space and begin his very own brewery.  In 2018 after retiring from Active duty, Josh opened The Star Spangled Brewing Co. a family oriented, unapologetically patriotic, upscale micro brewery. Since that time The Star Spangled Brewing Co has grown into a second location Downtown Clarksville, becoming the largest microbrewery in Clarksville and the largest Veteran Owned brewery in Tennessee.
